Amanda Russell died.
So did Aunt Millie.
God bless them.

I used to be friends with Amanda in 8th and 9th grade. She was crazy even though she was the daughter of a preacher. I remember her talking about the first time she had sex. She said she did it in her dad's church. Crazy son of a bitch she was. Anyway, I also remember me and her talking almost every day on the phone because she liked Calvin, and I tried setting them up. haha That was funny.

Amanda got sick. Really sick. Drugs did it to her. She went to rehab junior year. She came back and was "clean".

Two days ago Amanda died from a drug overdose. I'm kind of in shock. I don't really know how to feel. I can't say I didn't see it coming, but it doesn't make it any easier to deal with. Someone I talked to every single day. It's hard. Really hard.

So college classes started today...

and I hated them.

I can't stand college. Well, my college at least. I don't feel like I'm going through with the full college experience because I'm going to stupid Warren County Community College. I only liked one of my professors, and most of the people attending the college look like inbreds. I'm not trying to be mean by saying that, but they do. I feel like I'm in an episode of Jerry Springer when I go to school.

I also don't think this schedule is going to work for me. I did well in high school when I was pressured to do things. I feel like now that I can't be reminded I'm going to screw up on everything. I know that's part of growing up, but I need assistance.

Plus, I'm also mad that I have to take a remedial math class because I failed the math entry test. I payed for a book that's over $100 for a class that I'm not even getting credit for.

What also stinks is that Chris and I will never get to see eachother. We figured out that Thursdays are really the only days that we can see eachother because he works on weekends, and I work on all the nights that he is free. I miss him allll the time. =[

Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve- This has always been one of my favorite songs. The instrumentals, the vocals, everything. I just like the idea of a bittersweet symphony.

Bonnie Taylor Shakedown by Hellogoodbye- Cute, fun song. I love to listen to this when I'm happy and I just wanna dance in front of the mirror.

But It's Better If You Do by Panic! At the Disco- I love it because it breathes confidence. Like you know you're pissed off, but you're okay with it. I just love how it's upbeat, but it's an, "I hate you" song. The music video is pretty darn cool.

Brand New Colony by the Postal Service- Haha, videogames. Always reminded me of that. The lyrics are cute, though. Witty little sayings always get me. :)

Bend and Not Break by Dashboard Confessional- It means that everything will be okay, you just need to be willing to accept love. This is exactly how I feel at the moment.

So basically,

I GRADUATED.

On Friday, June 16, 2006, I graduated North Warren Regional High School with honors. I've never been more proud of myself.

It didn't feel like I was graduating, though. It felt like just another practice (even though we only had one that took FOREVER). I was the second girl to graduate, and I was in the front row (naturally). It was so hot and uncomfortable at first, but as the sun went down over the bleachers, it got better. The only other time I went to get up before I got my diploma was to sing the Alma Mater with the other senior chorus members. When I went to get my diploma, I forgot to take my shades off, but that doesn't really matter because my mom wasn't going to order a picture anyway.

I had to rush home after graduation because we had to go to Project Graduation afterwords. My mom was one of the parents who helped us get set up for it. We waited until a little after 10:00 PM, and left for Spa 23. We hit traffic because they were paving the roads and stuff.

So we get there, and there's just so much to do. They had a pool, hot tub (SOOO NICE!), sauna, caricatures, super-imposed photos (I got one with Layla in front of Hollywood), volleyball, jousting, make your own music video, etc.

This guy with a camera walked around and we were all trying to hide from him, but he ended up asking us questions anyway.

There were drawings to win prizes and stuff, and I won a free car wash. I don't really have much use for it because I never wash my car or anything, but it's still nice to have.

I got a caricatures done, and I was kind of disappointed because I told him I was a cheerleader, and he wrote on the top of my picture, "Check out my pom-poms!" Gross.

The best part about the whole night was the hypnotist. It was probably the funniest thing I've ever seen in my whole entire life. He actually hypnotized some of the seniors to be extremely hot, extremely cold, pretend that the boys were in labor, could smell the most foul odor in the whole entire world, make fun of him behind his back, pretend that they were martians, suck their thumbs, etc. It was so great because a lot of my friends were up there, and when I asked them about what happened, they were like, "I did that?!" haha It was so funny. I had a blast.

We finally got home at around 5:30 AM, and I was so tired. I had to wait for my dad to finish stuff with our breakfast at the school. I kept complaining to him that I was so tired and needed to get home, so he left early.

I am certainly going to miss my class. Most of them were great people. I'm going to miss their smiling faces and the jokes that they pull, because I know that I'll never be able to see or hear some of them ever again. It's bittersweet, and I don't think it's going to hit me until I won't be going back in September. I wish all of them the best of luck. They have much to look forward to, and so do I.

Fashion Showwww!!

Eh, so much drama. I don't really feel like writing all of it. No one wants to hear that kind of stuff anyway.

Last Wednesday was the prom fashion show, and it went realllly well! It was really crazy getting set up for it, though. DeRenzo was literally going psycho.

I was the first to get my hair done, and the hair dresser put my hair in an upside down french braid, then twisted it up on top. It looked really good, but the pins were killing my head. I was also first to get my make-up done, which was a good thing because by the time she got to the last girls, the make-up artist had to half ass it. The make-up was really dark, and I didn't think it would look good with my dresses, but everyone said it looked good from the stage.

We practiced for so long before the show that I got blisters on my feet from the friggen shoes. They were too big for me, and I had trouble just standing in them.

Everyone said they really liked the green dress that I wore, but I thought the pink one fit much better. I couldn't really breathe in the green dress.

Anyway, all the girls looked gorgeous, and even though we didn't get a good turnout, there were no problems and everyone had a lot of fun.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Yayyy it's already been a horrible Christmas, and it's on 9:00. Oh, well. I didn't really get anything that I wanted except for a bath robe and shower radio. I mean, I knew it was going to be a pretty skim Christmas because we got new furniture and a big screen tv a couple of months ago, but I didn't think it would be this bad. Socks, a pair of pajamas, batteries.. yeah. I hope everyone else has/had a wonderful Christmas. :)

Well, good news... I'm getting better! I'm able to talk now, and my mouth doesn't hurt nearly as much as it did yesterday. It's uncomfortable and I still have a lot of swelling, but I'm looking forward to a speedy recovery. Thanks for all your kind words!

The only problem that I'm dealing with is that I can't go to Brittany's big Christmas party tonight. I am so bummed...you have no idea. The last party she had was awesome! I had so much fun...I didn't remember the last time I laughed so hard. That's the problem though...I can't laugh or else my stitches will break, and I'll create an even bigger problem. My mom wasn't even the one who told me it would be a bad idea to go. I just figured that it's just not the best time for me to go to a party. Hopefully she'll have another one real soon. And tonight's not going to be pathetic. Christine and Brandon are coming over to visit me. :)

Okay, so I got my wisdom teeth taken out today. I only threw up a few times, but my mouth is still in a lot of pain. It helps to put the ice packs on. I don't know how I'm going to be tomorrow.. they say the second day is usually the worst. Pray that I'll feel okay. Hopefully I'll be better by Christmas so that I can visit Brandon's family.

Oh my goodness, what a GREAT weekend!

Friday was our last home football game (or last game depending on what Mr. Simonetti says), but it was still a lot of fun. Of course the little Sophomores were bitchy as usual, but I knew I had to make the best of the night. And guess what.. JOEY WAS THERE! In case I hadn't told you, he was a Senior when I was Freshman, and I used to be obsessed with him. Really.. I don't know if obsession is a big enough word. I was literally his biggest fan. Well, he's definitely not as hot as he used to be, but he's still up there. Brandon was talking to him the whole night.. *SQUEE!!*

Saturday morning I had SAT's, and I forgot how much I hate taking them. I really can't take standardized test's, and I don't think I did any better on them than the last time.

Okay, now for
Brittany decided to drive me to the school, even though I had been planning on driving there. We get there, and we realize that we get CHARTER BUSES. God, that was amazing.

On the bus I hung out with Layla, Shontell, and Brittany. We watched Meet the Fockers on those cool little tv's.

When we got to Medieval Times, Layla and Shontell got lost from us, so we ended up getting different seats which kind of sucked. We were assigned to the blue section, and got a cool paper crown. After that, we were just walking around, and then found Mrs. Zisa so that we could go into the Museum of Torture. It was pretty gruesome.. people from the Medieval times were really evil.

So we finally get into the arena, and there are these rows that we sit at. They aren't tables, but sort of like a bar table that goes all the way around. They served us vegetable soup, garlic bread, a whole half a chicken EACH, spare ribs, and pie.. and get this.. we didn't have ANY utensils! It was kind of gross and dark, but it was fun being able to shove your face and have no one care because they are doing the same thing.

The show was AMAZING. Each section was assigned a knight, and we were obviously the blue knight. Brittany thought he was gorgeous, but I was kind of obsessed with the green night. There was a knight for each Hogwarts color which Brittany and I observed and thought of which was pretty cool.

They did all of these tricks with horses and jousting. Also, our knight picked someone out of all the hundreds of people in our section to be his "fair maiden", and he picked Shontell! haha Go figure. He gave her this little flag thing saying it. By the end of the night, one of the knights had to win the tournament, and ours won!! It was so fun because the whole time we were screaming, "Let's go blue!!" *clap clap* They also gave a shout out to us North Warren kids. :)

When it was time to leave, we all got on the buses, but the other bus wouldn't start. We were waiting for about 45 minutes before they actually were able to jump start the bus.

So, all in all, it was a great experience. I'm going to miss the Seniors, even though I usually don't say that I will.

You know you go to North Warren when...

1. All the teachers worry more about cell phones then cheating.

2. You can't say GOD, JESUS, or ANY swear words near room 28.

3. There are only two fights a year but at least 50 talks of a fight.

4. We lose a Churches kindness to us because of a fight.

5. The Vice Principal looks like Luigi from the Mario Brothers.

6. You must address the Principal as Dr. Green

7. Anything you say turns into drama, and not normal cat fight drama.

8. All of the parking spots are gone before the 6th week of school starts.

9. Most people drive a Honda Civic, POS, or a Truck(pick-up).

10. The spanish teacher is incharge of almost everyone, including the english department.

11. The middle schoolers invade.

12. The FFA is semi-important.

13. All of the sports SUCK, except the marching band.

14. WNWR runs once every 3 years.

15. There is Bruceketball, T-Ball, Smith, & Haupt running the sports show.

16. Although most of the kids hate the school, most of the teachers are idiots, & you just cant wait till you get out of the bubble... you still wear all your NWR gear daily & participate in Spirit Week.

No Cheer-tators

Today I had cheerleading practice, and I can actually say that I had fun.

We did the regular stuff, and I asked for more assistance with the dance. I think I can actually practice it at home, now. I take sooo long to learn things, but when I actually do learn it, I think I'm pretty good. Rose-Anne and Layla weren't there today, but that really didn't matter that much.

The only problem I had was the fact that I'm on the end of the cheer line.. again. For the fourth year now. I mean, I suppose it could be worse (like being put in the back), but I just have this issue with being on the end. I really don't like it at all. I feel excluded from the group.

Anyway, after practice, we had to go to Coach Hipple's house for a "sign painting party". I kind of filled my car with Jill and Stephanie and three freshmen. I know, I had an illegal amount in my car, but Hipple lives one minute from the school.

So we ate, joked around, sign painted (I wrote out almost all of the signs! Go me!), and went in the pool. I actually had a lot of fun, and all the girls were being really nice.

I got my schedule yesterday.
